The samples on this page are projects that have been completed. For any working musician, there are yet many other projects in-progress or completed but not yet made public. I work regularly with a few singer/songwriters, taking their raw voice memo recordings and turning them into fleshed-out arrangements and nicely-produced recordings. I’ve built up the resources and skills to work efficiently and excellently from a distance, which has not only made larger collaborations (like the ones below) possible, but also smaller, one-off jobs (i.e. recording a keys track or writing a quick hymn arrangement for a church or transcribing a chart for a band).

If you would like to inquire about using my services for your project, I would love to get the conversation going! Head to my contact page and send me an email or reach out over instagram or facebook.

Now to Recall, Timothy Zieger

One of the best songwriters I’ve ever heard, a good friend, and a project I’m deeply proud of. I got to play piano, keys, and percussion on this album as well as to help arrange the songs and produce it. Tim and I have played several shows together. Shortly before the stay-at-home orders went into effect, we did a live streamed show in my studio that you can view here.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Shannon Bonne

An incredible singer, I had the opportunity to arrange this song, play the piano, and do all the mixing on it. It’s the first in a series of singles she hopes to release, the rest being originals.

Sacred Piano Recordings and Arrangements

I’ve released two albums of solo piano music under the artist name “Zach James”. I did all the arranging, recording, editing, and mixing myself.

I have published the sheet music for a number of these arrangements, all transcribed and engraved by me. You can hear/see all this stuff at

Truro Anglican Church

I’ve done a lot of work for this church through the years, including arrangements for choir, transcriptions for band, and playing piano/keys for various events. For samples of my piano playing, visit their youtube channel and watch some the recently streamed worship services. Or check out my organ playing on this virtual choir video they made of a gospel song.
